Course Info

The Solstice Chase will be on the Woolly Bike Club groomed Singletrack.  (We reserve the right to change the race venue in response to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.)

Only true “Fat Bikes” are allowed in the Solstice Chase. This means your bicycle must have tires that are at least 3.8″ wide, and be running less than 10 psi of air pressure. Narrower tires or tires with more pressure damage the groomed ski trails – while a portion of this course will be open for Fat Biking throughout the Winter, some of it is a XC Ski trail and only open to Fat Bikers on event day. As the Solstice Chase is part of the Great Lakes Fat Bike Series only fat bikes with tires 3.8″ or wider will be allowed regardless of conditions – no regular mountain bikes.
